Moxie Mums + Little Ones

Express style workouts that you can bring your little one/s to. That means no childcare required, and any age child is welcome - heck you can even bring your whole crew! These classes are designed to stretch and tone your whole body, as well as strengthen and stabilise your core. A variety of Pilates, yoga and barre techniques are used in these dynamic and effective workouts. While you work out, your little one can play, sleep or join in - it’s up to you and them! Classes are designed with all mum’s in mind; so whether you had your baby recently or ages ago, these classes are suitable for you, and exercises can be adapted to suit where you are at in your fitness journey. These sessions are booked in for an hour which includes a 45 min workout and allows time for settling in, packing up and getting to know other mum’s.

Moxie Pumped Up Strength

We will pump up the music and pump up the fun in this new format to Moxie Pilates. This 1 hour long class will rev up your metabolism and have you leave feeling great and possibly a wee bit sweaty. Challenge your body in new ways with this newly developed resistance training approach hitting the world stage (FYI I think Moxie is still the first to teach this format). Think Strength training and cardio all rolled into one with great music to boot, oh and the odd theme day thrown in for good measure. This standing and mat work combined class will help you to: rev up your metabolism; increase your overall caloric expenditure; build lean muscle mass; improve mobility; reduce risk of injury; all while you are grooving and smiling to the music. This class will still offer lots of modifications in the form of regressions and progressions so that you can adapt the class to suit your body and your individual needs.

Moxie Mat

Take some time out for you in these mat based Pilates classes. These classes are designed to help you improve your posture, focus on alignment, and get one heck of a core workout! Standing and mat based exercises are combined to keep your body moving through flow sequences that focus on stretching and toning your entire body. With a goal of moving mindfully, Pilates principals are taught so you can focus on alignment of your body, mobility, and completing exercises, to get more bang for your buck! A variety of props are also used to keep classes engaging and fun, while strengthening you from the inside out.

Intermediate and Advanced Morning Option- This is a faster paced mat class with more challenging exercises, previous Pilates experience recommended for this option.

1 hour long (Mat) and 45 min (Express Mat)

Moxie Barre

You don’t need a tutu for these 1 hour long classes, but you will need to bring energy and a smile when you join us for our Moxie Barre workout - one of the most fun and dynamic ways to sculpt a lean physique! An effective hybrid of Pilates, dance, cardio and strength-training, this class provides an intense full-body workout that’s designed to tighten and tone from the ground up. Total Barre incorporates choreographed movement patterns set to music using the ballet barre and an array of props. Come solo or round up a group of girlfriends and be ready to have a blast, no dance experience required!

Group Sessions- Coffee group, Sports group, Mums group, Unique party idea….

Exercise is just more fun with friends, so grab your girlfriends or coffee group and book a fun group session just for you and your mates. These 50 min sessions can be done in the comfort of one of your homes, or for a small additional hire fee we can rent a space too. Because this is shared with your friends it is a tailored session for the group, with the added bonus of being able to split the cost! These sessions can be done with or without kids, and can include: pre and postnatal fitness, toning and general strengthening, barre or Pilates, and can even include learning infant massage techniques. Please allow an hour for these bookings, so we can discuss the groups goals and intentions for the session. Get in touch to find out more and make a booking for these sessions.

Private Sessions

Perhaps class times don’t suit, or you prefer some individual attention. These private sessions located in your own home can be one on one or for a couple, and are tailored to meet your own individual/couple needs. So whether you want to work on core strength, toning and strengthening, increased mobility and flexibility, or even postural analysis, we can come up with a program that is tailored made! These 50 min workout sessions are also great for busy mum’s with small children as the session can be timed around your little ones sleeps, and I can come to your home. Pregnancy Pilates

Looking for classes suitable in pregnancy without having to modify things? Prenatal Pilates classes are specifically tailored with pregnancy in mind. Designed to suit while in your second and third trimesters, these group classes are inclusive, suitable for all fitness levels, and require no prior experience. Invigorating and uplifting, the yoga postures and Pilates exercises will strengthen and tone your body, while the relaxation and breathing will relieve stress and tension, and encourage deep rest. Also a great place to meet other mums-to-be.
